This place is a gem and we're so happy we found it. Beautiful club house, great place to shoot clay pigeons. Very scenic area, and gorgeous during leaf season. Definitely challenging but we had a blast. Pricing is fine. Four people can use one 4x4. We've been there twice and will continue to visit when we're in Murphy, NC
The course was great and they have plenty of options (easy, intermediate, and expert levels). All of the shooting stations were covered, which was definitely helpful for our day since it was raining on and off. The carts + the rest of the equipment are nice/high quality. I would highly recommend, but just know the prices are a bit high for everything. I'll definitely be going back soon though!
Wow Garland Mountain Sporting Clays is one of my favorite places to visit with friends and family. They have three great courses for all skill levels and all are covered stations so you’re out of the sun.
The people who manage the facilities are very kind and make you feel at home. The food is incredible and exactly what you need before you head home after a fun day on the course.
They rent berettas and also have eye and ear protection available.
The golf carts are in good condition but beware that the brakes are very soft so brake early on the hills.
They will also let you bring your own golf cart which makes it a lot of fun.
I can’t wait to return and will highly recommend it to everyone. Thanks for a great time!
We had a great first time , shooting clay targets. We knew instruction was important, and took advantage of Garland’s Pro, Roy.
He spent two hours with us and did a great job. He’s very patient and knowledgeable. We will be coming back….
omg this was so wonderful!!! for the food part my boyfriend and i ordered the shrimp and grits and the sandwhich with the mango sauce stuff. the sandwich was to die for but the grits were just okay. anyway after that we went shooting and AHHH it was soooo fun!!! 50 rounds were definitely enough for each of us! if we would’ve done 100 then we would’ve been there all day! but the guy who helped me was super awesome too! his name was rob! also i won!!!!! so that made it even better hehe
Beautiful place, facility is very nice and clean. Courses were kept clean and nice. Some stages were challenging but had great time.
Hands down the best place to shoot clays and grab a great bite to eat. Perfect for a group outing, date day or family day. Beautiful views, helpful staff and a fun time!
The Grill at GM only opens for dinner one night a month (lunch and b'fast are open when GMSC is open). We went June 23: the weather was perfect. Food was better than most near comparable restaurants. We will definitely be back.
